Grower Session in Seddon - Mothballing and alternatives

  • Yealands Awatere Memorial Hall Foster Street Seddon, Marlborough Region, 7210 New Zealand (map)

Deciding whether to continue full vineyard operations, mothball a vineyard, or remove vines is a complex decision involving economic, operational, and site-specific considerations.

To support growers, Wine Marlborough and Bragato Research Institute (BRI) are hosting a free information session to discuss a new vineyard decision-making guide developed by BRI, followed by a BBQ and opportunity to connect with others in the industry.

Representatives from BRI, the NZW Environment Team, consultant viticulturists, growers, Rural Support Trust, and Wine Marlborough will share their experience, knowledge, and available support.

All are welcome. Feel free to bring your partner, neighbour, or fellow grape grower. Please register by midday on 9 June for catering purposes.

When:     Wednesday 10th June 11am - 12.15pm followed by a BBQ

Where:    Yealands Awatere Memorial Hall, Foster Street Seddon
