The accolades keep rolling in for Whitehaven’s Sauvignon Blanc 2025. Following its Diamond Trophy at the Sakura Japan Women's Wine Awards and Gold Medal at Mundus Vini, the company’s flagship Sauvignon Blanc has now earned an impressive 93-point rating from Robert Parker Wine Advocate, one of the world's most respected and influential wine publications.

A score of 93 points places the wine firmly within the "Outstanding" category on the Robert Parker Wine Advocate 100-point scale, recognising wines of exceptional quality, character and complexity.

In her review, respected wine critic Erin Larkin highlighted the wine's intensity and precision, describing it as "piercing and intense" with vibrant citrus, green apple and tropical fruit notes, supported by a distinctive saline freshness and remarkable purity.

"This accolade is a fantastic recognition of the quality and consistency of our flagship Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc," said Sue White, Whitehaven Wines co-founder. "The 2025 vintage showcases everything we love about Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc – vibrant aromatics, purity of fruit and refreshing acidity – and we are delighted to see it recognised by such a respected international authority."

The 2025 Whitehaven Sauvignon Blanc reflects Whitehaven's ongoing commitment to crafting premium wines that express the distinctive character of Marlborough's world-renowned wine-growing region.

Receiving a 93-point rating further strengthens Whitehaven's reputation for producing Sauvignon Blanc that resonates with wine lovers both in New Zealand and around the globe.

For decades, Robert Parker Wine Advocate has been regarded as a global benchmark for wine, with its ratings influencing consumers, collectors, retailers and the international wine trade. The publication's 100-point scoring system has become one of the most widely recognised standards for assessing wine quality worldwide.

Whitehaven is a winery in Marlborough producing the #1 Ultra-Premium Sauvignon Blanc in the USA, and the #4 Sauvignon Blanc in the USA across all categories.
